Week 8

Week 8 Recaps

Dorchester's Finest - 46

Big Cat - 60

Big Cat had the three ball working early for them as 12 of their first 14 points came from long distance, including back to back threes by Casey (9 points) to open the game. Ryan (game high 15 points) caught fire in second half connecting on three consecutive threes to put the game out of reach. Tom just missed a points/steals double double for Big Cat with 13 points and 8 steals.

Red Tree - 45

PwC - 43

Red Tree picked up its first win in a couple weeks thanks to some clutch shots down the stretch by Brian and Carlos. Down 2 with 30 seconds left Brian (team high 17 points) stepped to the line and knocked down two big free throws. One possession later Carlos (7 points, 10 boards, and 4 assists) knocked down a mid range to give them the 45-43 edge with 7 seconds left.

Keith Parkinson had a monster game for PwC posting a near triple double with 18 points, 13 boards and 8 steals. With a couple seconds left he got the ball at the wing and just missed a game winning three.

Donohue's- 42

Doppio - 26

Donohue's put on a clinic as they dissected Doppio's defense all night long. As is typical with their offense there was no big scorer with not a single player tallying double digits, but they had five players put up at least 5 points lead by Joe and Mark with 8 points a piece.

Donohue's remains one of two undefeated teams along with the Lions this season.
