Fall Week 6 Recap

Fall 2017 - Week 6 Game Recaps

Donahue's- 67 vs V-Squad -  29

V-Squad looked like might be able to pull an unlikely upset early on as they hung tough in the first half. However, there was too much talent on the floor for Donahue's, lead by John Griffin's 17 points, for them to keep up the whole game. Kevin Donovan, Mike Beerio, and Ray Davidian also tallied double figure points in the win.

Austin Fuller and Rich O'Neil were the high scorers for V-Squad with 7 a piece.

RMR Group - 37 vs C League Ballers -  43

Despite a six point half time deficit, C League Ballers were able to come out of week 6 with a victory. John Karlson was the catalyst behind the comeback with 13 points that all came in the second half. Clutch foul shooting down the stretch also helped as they went 4-5 as a team in the last two minutes.

Team Big Cat - 72 vs Epizyme -  64

The best game of the week was certainly the last one as this one saw countless ties and lead changes throughout.

Epizyme held a slim two point advantage at half but Big Cat ripped off a 18-4 run to start the half to take a 12 point lead. That was followed by a 12-3 run from Epizyme with Ray and Will Leong scoring all 12 of those points. They would finish with 23 and 17 points respectively.

That was as close as Epizyme would get as the balanced attack from Big Cat proved to be too much. Murphy lead Big Cat with 21 points. MacFarlane had a great night shooting connecting on 5 threes to finish with 17 points and Petrocci may have had the most impressive stat line of the night with 5 points, 8 boards, three assists, and seven steals to help Big Cat improve to 4-2.
